We doubled our prices on some of our favorite products for Black Friday through Cyber Monday!
Yes, we know. It's unconventional to double our prices on Black Friday and Cyber Monday BUT we're givers and that's exactly what we're going to do with the extra money. We will donate all the extra money in December from your purchase to a foundation that shares our vision. Real. Rugged. Independent.
While we all tend to get caught up in our own consumerism during the holidays we need to remember all of the folks out there that are working hard to reach their goals.
To us it’s much more than that, Farm Hard or Die feels these are the skills that make for successful individuals in life, no matter where their future leads.
Farm Hard or Die is excited to join with the Cheney FFA Alumni Association to develop Real, Rugged and Independent individuals.
FFA relies on its alumni to garner support for FFA from their local communities, raise funds for chapter activities and scholarships, assist at FFA leadership camps and conferences, and more. You don't have to be a former FFA member to support FFA, agricultural education and the future of agriculture.
Oh, you better believe we'll be there!
"As much as Rebecca’s Private Idaho is about the ride itself, it’s also about using the bike to do more than just raise heart rates and take in sights. This ride benefits three great organizations that are very close to my heart and, I hope, will become close to yours:" One local, one national and one international. They are the Wood River Bike Coalition (WRBC), People for Bikes and World Bicycle Relief (WBR).
If you want to skip ahead to learn more about her, her ride and the organization you can here. Sappy stuff follows.
Here's the thing. Rebecca's a friend. Don't we all love supporting our friends? But, this isn't just any ordinary friend. When I met Rebecca about 10 years ago she was just launching her professional Mt. Biking career at something like 38 years old. I'm thinking, who does that? Rebecca does that. Now she's a world champion, Leadville 100 multiple champion....the list is long.
As the years passed I have watched this person who I didn't really know turn into someone I highly respect. Not only did she kick the crap out of women's Mt. biking she shattered the ceiling. We're not super tight, but I'm proud of this woman. She inspires me. I'm always really honored to say I know her but not because she is now a pretty famous biker chick, known as the "queen of pain", but because of how she has used that platform.
I admire her, including every person who works with her and this organization because they have shown what a single force can become. They overcome. They persevere and they are making a difference.
I want to do that. Farm Hard or Die want's to do that.
Read more about what they are doing here. You'll be inspired too. (And, don't think for one second that this is the last time you'll see us support this organization)
Farm Hard or Die will be at the Cheney Rodeo Parade Round-Up and at the Cheney Rodeo on Saturday.
This super fun rodeo brings us back to our roots! My sister Nancy won her very first blue ribbon barrel racing just down the street from this rodeo back in 1978 or some time close to that. And, because she always wanted to be a rodeo queen we are donating 10% (pre-tax) of all our July online sales to the 50th Miss Cheney Rodeo!
Miss Cheney Rodeo is the ambassador of the Cheney Events Association and the Cheney Rodeo. She travels all around the Inland Northwest promoting the Cheney Rodeo, The City of Cheney, and the great sport of Rodeo! All of this while empowering young boys and girls to work hard and they can achieve their goals.

These girls (a.k.a. Kick ASS Ultra Brave Women) went through it all to bring your attention to the plight salmon face.
Follow their story and support them with a purchase!
$10 from each "Ride Hard or Die" shirt sold will directly benefit Ride for Redd. But, only until they reach Redfish Lake in early June, so get yours on the way and do your part to help save Idaho's salmon population.
In addition, 10% from all other sales will also go to Ride for Redd.
These brave and passionate women are literally following the route Idaho's wild salmon take FROM THE PACIFIC OCEAN TO REDFISH LAKE, 900 MILES, 3 WOMEN , 6 HORSES, RIDING TO SAVE IDAHO’S WILD SALMON! We couldn't be more impressed with the way they are taking their passion for adventure and putting it to good use.
" Idaho's Wild Salmon are at risk of disappearing indefinitely. This wouldn't only be detrimental to the environment, but it would also severely impact Idaho's economy. There are many reasons why Idaho's Wild Salmon numbers are dwindling, but the biggest reason is polarization in the United States. We have talked to activists, farmers, barge operators, and the uninformed, and they all have one thing in common: EVERYONE WE'VE TALKED TO WANTS TO DO WHAT THEY CAN TO SAVE OUR WILD SALMON!"

Recreation is a huge part of our culture and when Mike McKenna of the Wood River Land Trust (WRLT) reached out we couldn't help but say yes. Not only do we love Mike McKenna, we believe in his efforts with WRLT.
You can support them too. If you live in our area, swing in for their party at Mahoney's tonight. Farm Hard or Die donated SWAG for the event OR simply purchase Farm Hard or Die gear online during the month of March and and we'll make sure they receive part of the profit.

The Howard Preserve in Bellevue could use your help. And all you have to do to make a lasting and positive difference for our community, for our river, and for our wildlife is come to a party!
The Howard Preserve Expansion Party will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, at Mahoney’s Bar and Grill in Bellevue.
Local favorites Up A Creek are playing and there will be lots of raffle prizes for an event that promises to be fun for the whole family.
Late last year Blaine County Commissioners gave conceptual approval for a grant to assist the Wood River Land Trust and the City of Bellevue in adding five parcels and more than an acre to the protected open space of the Howard Preserve, which runs along the Big Wood River in the heart of Bellevue. To complete the transaction, money still needs to be raised to pay for items such for an Environmental Assessment Study, for closing costs and to set up a stewardship fund to care for the lands.
That’s why we’re throwing this party--not only to help raise the rest of the funds needed, but also to celebrate adding more land for people to explore and more open space for wildlife and native flora to flourish.
We hope you can join us for the celebration. If you can’t make it but still want to help, consider making a donation to the Howard Preserve or donating a raffle prize for the party.
